The skies gradually fade to black
As time passes slowly by
For a young couple standing on the beach
Looking at the stars just starting to shine
On the dark canvass of the night sky
Hand in hand, not a word is said
Deep feelings of love that are mutual
Need no words or action to describe

There's no need for kissing
It's only an action of assurance
That's too overrated and mostly false
Love that's true needs no words
Nor actions to show others
For it can be seen by all no matter what happens
And in dire circumstances
That love will hold true

Envy encircles them
Jealousy rages without
In the people that see such true love
But whom can never fathom its depths
Never understanding that love stems from within one's heart
To the other's heart
And not to appearance, assets or other worldly possessions

It's something so simple, yet profound
That this young couple has found
Their bond is strong, her heart joined with his heart
Never to be torn asunder
With the blessings of the stars lighting up in the sky
Created by God to guide
Their love will overcome any obstacles
And overwhelm all
