I once knew a girl who was quite plain
But she wasn't an ordinary Jane
She had a mouth that would pierce your heart
Sarcasm was first nature to her
Cynism the second
Yet she had the biggest heart
That would have a role in many parts

Which you would never see
If you never looked deep enough
Past the thin, invisible and menacing shield
Of caustic words she wields

She could be nicer
Of which no one doubts
But then she would probably freak out
If you told her just so
And bite your head off

If there was so much a chance
That her prince would come
He better be prepared to slay a dragon
Don't get me wrong though
She doesn't breathe fire
Just the strongest acid

So Jane
For your own sake
Think about your future
And as far as I know
There's no one I know who would
Even if they could
Want to put a little figure of a dragon
In their stead on top of a wedding cake

(can't think of anything better... haha.)
